1. Jiayuguan Great Wall


Jiayuguan is located in the west of Jiayuguan City, Gansu Province, China, in the middle of the narrowest valley 5 kilometers away.


The city walls on both sides of Jiayuguan traverse the desert Gobi, connected to the Overhanging Great Wall in the north, and the first pier in the world in the south.



Jiayuguan Great Wall is the westernmost gate of the Great Wall in the Ming Dynasty.



Historically, it is the most important place in Hexi. Because of its dangerous terrain and majestic buildings, it is known as the most majestic building in the world.



Jiayuguan was a traffic fortress on the ancient "Silk Road" and has always been one of the three wonders of the Great Wall of China.


2. The Roman Baths, England


One of the best-preserved Roman ruins in the UK, this Bath in Bath is a sprawling complex used by ancient Romans for rest, relaxation, and some socializing. In the past, the pool was clear water for bathing, but now it has turned green due to the growth of algae.


3. Chichen Itza, Mexico


Chichen Itza is the second largest archaeological site in Mexico today, with a history dating back to 550 AD. This ancient Mayan city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is listed as one of the World’s New Seven Wonders.


4. The Parthenon, Greece


Built by the ancient Athenians between 447 and 432 BC, this majestic building houses the city's patron saint, the goddess Athena.


This used to be a beautiful temple, but due to the damage of several earthquakes, all that is left is its awe-inspiring and beautiful fragments, but people continue to flock to Athens to view and photograph the ruins of the temple.


5. Colosseum, Italy

6. Machu Picchu, Peru

The site was unknown to the world for hundreds of years until it was discovered by archaeologist Hiram Bingham in 1911.


7. Ajanta Caves, India


The Ajanta Caves are excavated in the mountains near the village of Ajanta in western India. They are meticulously carved on granite horseshoe-shaped cliffs. It is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.


The Ajanta Caves are home to beautiful ancient sculptures, intricately decorated cave walls, and some of the most fascinating fresco-type paintings in the world.


8. The ancient city of Petra, Jordan


The ancient city of Petra is believed to have been built around the 2nd century AD, with beautifully carved pillars and sculptures standing above a narrow canyon passage about 1.5 kilometers long.


The entire ancient city is half-built and half-carved on sandstone hills, the most famous being the 45-meter-high Al Khazneh Temple.


9. Pantheon, Italy

10. Pyramids of Giza, Egypt


Of all the monuments, perhaps the most iconic is the towering pyramids of Giza, Egypt. Built between 2589 and 2566 BC, these ancient tombs house the treasures and remains of Egyptian kings.
